Thanet’s first Community Action Fayre to take place

A fayre celebrating Thanet’s vibrant community will take place at Ark in Cliftonville.

As part of Thanet council’s Community Champions initiative it aims to showcase the work of the district’s fantastic organisations who work tirelessly to make life better.

The first 50 visitors will receive a free resuable cup in support of Plastic Free Thanet and Rise Up Clean Up. There will also be free samosas made by community stalwart and food campaigner Sharon Goodyer’s organisation Local Meals with Love.

We will be on hand to talk about all things volunteering and the diverse opportunities there are for everyone – don’t miss this amazing opportunity. Stalls include: Windmill Community Garden, Drapers Windmill Trust, Safe Families, Age UK, Thanet Foodlink, Ramsgate Sea Cadets, Community LifeSavers

Come and find out more about how your community works.

The event is free but please book a space online to register your interest.
