Sandwich Mayor Says “Thank You”

Our Volunteer Coordinator for the Dover, Deal & Sandwich area, Sharon Powell, was delighted to be asked by the Mayor of Sandwich to give a talk at his evening volunteer reception on the evening of February 26th. Sandwich is a beautiful town with and a close community supported by great volunteers. The evening was full of gratitude for those volunteers, and certificates and pens were handed out to those attending. Sharon’s talk highlighted the invaluable contribution made by volunteers and how volunteering benefits not only organisations but the individual volunteer too.
